Determine a position
GPS uses received satellite signals. It does not send your asset’s location back to a satellite.
Explore the building blocks of a tracking solution. The right technology starts with your asset, your workflow and your environment.
Generic technology schematic, not a representation of a specific partner product. No product specifications are implied.
A reader exchanges radio signals with an RFID tag to identify an item. Passive tags draw energy from the reader; they do not continuously transmit or independently determine a GPS position. Reader locations and recorded transactions establish where an item was last detected.
Bulk inventory, doorway detection, file finding and custody transactions.
Read performance depends on tag, reader, materials, antenna placement and the site survey.

The physical device is only one part of a tracking workflow. Its fit with the asset, environment, identifiers, connectivity and operating process is assessed before a project is scoped.
Your assets. Your context. NTABTECH.Satellite positioning and satellite data connectivity are not the same capability.

A supported data connection carries observations to software when coverage and service are available.
Display the reported event, time, location and status. A missing update is not proof of the asset’s current position.
Technology descriptions are grounded in the published partner portfolio. Exact device models, authorised product media, read ranges, certifications and network compatibility are confirmed during project assessment — never invented for this showroom.
Portfolio sources are identified for context. All consultations, quotations and project requests are directed to NTABTECH.
