01 / UNDERSTAND THE POSSIBILITIES

Visibility with purpose.

Utility operations depend on equipment moving between depots, stores, substations, work sites and maintenance teams. A configurable registry can bring asset records, assignments, inspection and calibration schedules, service history and supporting files into one operational view. Barcode or QR labels and RFID can support identification and inventory events; BLE or Wi-Fi can support location visibility where compatible readers and infrastructure are available. GPS determines position, while cellular connectivity transports updates when coverage exists. The appropriate mix depends on asset type, site conditions and working practices. This is a proposed application of TrackerIoT capabilities, not a claim of a completed NTABTECH utility deployment. Workflows, access rights and reporting would be defined with the customer after technical assessment.

02 / PRACTICAL APPLICATIONS

Designed around
the way you work.

Proposed applications. Technology, coverage and workflows are validated through a technical assessment.

01

Field equipment and tools

Create a register for portable test instruments, safety equipment, tools and other field assets. Barcode, QR or RFID processes can support issue, return and audit events, while assignment records help teams see who or which work group has custody. Any location view depends on the selected technology and site infrastructure.

02

Stores and warehouse movements

Structure receiving, put-away, transfer, dispatch and periodic stock audits for spare parts and operational supplies. Scanning workflows can associate each movement with an item and storage location, helping teams maintain a usable transaction history. Bin-level or live visibility requires suitable identification, readers and validated site configuration.

03

Maintenance and inspections

Link equipment records with maintenance, inspection and calibration tasks, due dates, service notes and supporting files. A configurable workflow can capture completion evidence and preserve an audit trail for review. It does not itself certify equipment, determine compliance or replace qualified inspection and maintenance decisions.

04

Vehicles and distributed sites

Maintain records for fleet vehicles and shared equipment assigned across depots or operating locations, with transfers and service events documented in the registry. GPS-based position is an option for appropriate assets; cellular networks carry updates only where coverage is available. Connectivity and operational requirements need site-level review.

03 / A STRONGER OPERATIONAL PICTURE

A clearer asset record

Bring assignments, movement events, maintenance dates and supporting files together for a more consistent operational reference across teams.

Structured custody and stock workflows

Use configurable check-in, transfer, dispatch and audit steps to make routine inventory activity easier to record and review.

Visibility matched to the site

Select identification and location methods around asset needs, infrastructure, coverage and operating procedures—not assumed universal performance.

Technical assessment comes first.

All utility-sector implementations are proposed and subject to technical assessment; none is represented as delivered by NTABTECH. Confirm asset types, process needs, reader placement, site connectivity, cellular coverage, data access, retention and user permissions before selecting a design. GPS determines position; cellular transports data where coverage exists. Commercial enquiries go to NTABTECH.

All visuals and records in this experience are illustrative. Location is a recorded detection or sample GPS event, not a guarantee of continuous live positioning.
