01 / UNDERSTAND THE POSSIBILITIES

Visibility with purpose.

Tools and equipment move between stores, workshops, vehicles and work areas, making it difficult to maintain a reliable record of custody, availability and service needs. NTABTECH can assess a configurable registry and workflow approach using barcodes or QR codes, RFID, BLE, WiFi, or GPS/GSM where appropriate. Teams can record check-in and check-out, assignment, inspections, maintenance and calibration, then review reports and supporting files. Location visibility depends on the selected technology and site infrastructure: some setups show a last-detected location, while others may provide live updates. Each implementation is proposed only after technical assessment; capabilities, connectivity and operating procedures must be validated for the specific environment.

02 / PRACTICAL APPLICATIONS

Designed around
the way you work.

Proposed applications. Technology, coverage and workflows are validated through a technical assessment.

01

Workshop tool control

Register shared tools and equipment with barcode, QR or RFID identifiers, then record issue, return, assignment and condition checks. A configurable workflow can help supervisors review custody and availability without assuming that a scan proves an item's condition or guarantees its location.

02

Warehouse receiving and dispatch

Log equipment as it is received, put away, dispatched, transferred or counted during an audit. Handheld barcode or RFID workflows can support recorded inventory events; any location view depends on the chosen infrastructure and may show last-detected rather than live position.

03

Maintenance and calibration

Associate equipment records with planned maintenance, inspection or calibration steps, due dates, service notes and supporting files. Configurable reminders and reports can help teams review outstanding work, while technical suitability and any measurement requirements remain subject to assessment.

04

Mining operations in the DRC

Proposed equipment visibility can support records for site tools, heavy equipment, supply warehouses, maintenance activity and logistics transfers. Before selecting identification or location methods, assess site layout, power, connectivity and operating conditions; coverage and update behaviour must not be assumed.

03 / A STRONGER OPERATIONAL PICTURE

A clearer custody record

Configurable check-in, assignment and transfer records give teams a shared view of recorded custody and movement events.

Maintenance in context

Link inspections, maintenance and calibration records to equipment entries, helping staff review service history and upcoming tasks.

Visibility matched to the site

Choose identification and location methods after assessing infrastructure, workflows and the difference between last-detected and live updates.

Technical assessment comes first.

All sector implementations are proposed, not delivered, and are subject to technical assessment. Confirm site connectivity, reader coverage, device suitability, location expectations, security and workflow requirements before design. GPS determines position; cellular transports data only where coverage exists. Satellite communications are unconfirmed and require assessment. Passive RFID responds to powered readers. Direct all commercial enquiries to NTABTECH.

All visuals and records in this experience are illustrative. Location is a recorded detection or sample GPS event, not a guarantee of continuous live positioning.
