01 / UNDERSTAND THE POSSIBILITIES

Visibility with purpose.

Oil and gas operations coordinate equipment, replacement parts, vehicles and inspection records across facilities, yards, warehouses and remote sites. A configurable registry can connect barcode or QR labels, RFID, BLE, Wi-Fi and GPS/GSM location methods with workflows for assignment, custody, inspection and reporting. Teams can record receiving, put-away, dispatch and audits, and associate maintenance or calibration details and supporting files with registered items. Location visibility depends on the selected technology and installed infrastructure: some records show a last-detected location, while live location may be available where suitable infrastructure supports it. Each deployment is proposed and requires technical assessment; the approach is not a claim of completed NTABTECH sector projects.

02 / PRACTICAL APPLICATIONS

Designed around
the way you work.

Proposed applications. Technology, coverage and workflows are validated through a technical assessment.

01

Equipment and tool registers

Create a searchable register for pumps, generators, specialist tools and other tagged equipment across operating sites, workshops and laydown areas. Barcode/QR scans or RFID reads can support identification, assignment, custody updates and audit workflows, subject to a site-specific tagging and reader plan.

02

Maintenance and inspection records

Associate inspection, maintenance and calibration schedules, status updates and supporting files with registered equipment. Configurable workflows can record due dates, work stages and responsible teams, helping staff review asset histories without representing the system as a diagnostic device or a substitute for approved safety procedures.

03

Warehouse and materials movements

Record receiving, put-away, internal transfers, dispatch and stock audits for operational stores and replacement parts. Scanning workflows can link an item to its registry entry and movement history; warehouse layout, identification methods, stock practices and connectivity should be assessed before configuration.

04

Fleet and site logistics

Maintain vehicle and heavy-equipment records, assignments, inspection history and movement events across facilities and field locations. GPS can determine position and cellular service can transport data when coverage exists; other location options and any real-time requirements need an infrastructure and operating-context assessment.

03 / A STRONGER OPERATIONAL PICTURE

A shared asset picture

Bring configurable registries, assignments, movement events and supporting records together for review across participating teams and locations.

Traceable work processes

Use defined workflows to record custody, warehouse handling, inspections and audits alongside each item's history and files.

Designed around site realities

Select identification and location methods after assessing assets, operating procedures, infrastructure, connectivity and user needs.

Technical assessment comes first.

Every oil and gas application described here is proposed, not delivered by NTABTECH. A technical assessment must confirm asset types, hazardous-area constraints, approved devices, mounting and tagging methods, reader infrastructure, connectivity, data governance and operating procedures before any implementation. GPS determines position; cellular transports data when coverage exists. Passive RFID responds to powered readers. Satellite communications are unconfirmed and subject to assessment. No accuracy, range, battery-life or certification guarantee is implied.

All visuals and records in this experience are illustrative. Location is a recorded detection or sample GPS event, not a guarantee of continuous live positioning.
