Know What’s On Site

A proposed tracking and inventory approach for construction equipment, tools, materials, and inspections, configured to each project’s workflows, access rules, site connectivity, and operational needs, subject to technical assessment before any scope is agreed.

01 / UNDERSTAND THE POSSIBILITIES

Visibility with purpose.

Construction projects move equipment, tools, and supplies among yards, warehouses, vehicles, and active sites. NTABTECH proposes a configurable registry and workflow approach to help teams record assignments, custody changes, receiving, dispatch, inspections, and maintenance history in one operational view. Depending on the selected identification method and installed infrastructure, records may show a last-detected location or a live location; neither is assumed everywhere. Barcode and QR workflows, RFID, BLE, WiFi, and GPS/GSM can be assessed for particular assets and locations. The design starts with the project’s inventory, user roles, evidence needs, and connectivity constraints, then defines what data is collected, who can see it, and how long it is retained. All construction-sector implementations are proposed and subject to technical assessment, not represented as completed NTABTECH projects.

02 / PRACTICAL APPLICATIONS

Designed around
the way you work.

Proposed applications. Technology, coverage and workflows are validated through a technical assessment.

01

Equipment and tool register

Create records for excavators, lifts, generators, power tools, and other project assets, with identifiers, assignment, custody events, and supporting files. Barcode/QR or RFID processes can support planned check-in, handover, and inventory audits; location visibility depends on the chosen technology and site infrastructure.

02

Receiving and site stores

Record deliveries, warehouse or site-store put-away, issue to crews, returns, and dispatch between project locations. A configured workflow can connect identified stock to its register and audit trail, helping teams review recorded movements without implying automatic detection where readers or network coverage are absent.

03

Maintenance and inspections

Associate inspection, maintenance, and calibration records with equipment, including due dates, completed checks, responsible roles, and attached evidence. Teams can review an asset’s recorded history before allocation or dispatch; this is administrative recordkeeping and does not certify equipment condition or replace required professional inspections.

04

Vehicles and project transfers

Maintain vehicle and heavy-equipment records alongside project assignment and transfer workflows. GPS/GSM may be assessed for position and data transport where the selected hardware and cellular coverage support it; alternative identification and last-detected workflows may suit yards or sites where live location is not available.

03 / A STRONGER OPERATIONAL PICTURE

A clearer asset register

Bring identifiers, assignments, custody events, files, and recorded locations into configurable records suited to project teams and access responsibilities.

Traceable operational workflows

Use defined receiving, handover, inspection, maintenance, and audit steps to keep a reviewable history of recorded actions.

Technology matched to context

Assess barcode/QR, RFID, BLE, WiFi, or GPS/GSM against asset types, site layout, connectivity, and operational requirements before selection.

Technical assessment comes first.

All construction implementations are proposed and require technical assessment. Confirm asset types, workflows, hardware, reader and network coverage, data access, retention, and site conditions before defining scope. GPS determines position; cellular transports data when covered. Satellite communications remain unconfirmed. No accuracy, range, battery-life, or certification guarantees are made.

All visuals and records in this experience are illustrative. Location is a recorded detection or sample GPS event, not a guarantee of continuous live positioning.
