Know What Moves on the Ground

A proposed asset and logistics registry for airport teams to identify equipment, record custody and maintenance events, and review last-detected locations where the selected identification and infrastructure support them.

01 / UNDERSTAND THE POSSIBILITIES

Visibility with purpose.

Airport operations depend on equipment moving between maintenance areas, stores, terminals and airside work zones. A proposed NTABTECH solution could give authorised teams a shared registry for selected ground-support equipment, tools, spare parts and inspection assets, with identification, assignment, custody and service records in one configurable workflow. Barcode or QR labels, RFID, BLE, WiFi or GPS/GSM may be considered according to the asset and site design; they are not interchangeable, and location visibility depends on the chosen infrastructure. Teams could record receiving, put-away, dispatch, audits, inspections and maintenance, and attach relevant files or evidence. This is a sector proposal, not a report of a completed aviation deployment. All commercial enquiries go to NTABTECH.

02 / PRACTICAL APPLICATIONS

Designed around
the way you work.

Proposed applications. Technology, coverage and workflows are validated through a technical assessment.

01

Ground-support equipment registry

Proposed records for selected baggage tractors, service carts and other ground-support equipment could connect a unique barcode, QR code or RFID identifier with asset details, assigned team, custody changes and maintenance history. Any airport deployment and identification method require technical assessment.

02

Stores and parts movements

Airport stores teams could use configurable receiving, put-away, dispatch and audit workflows for selected tools or spare parts. Barcode or RFID check-in and check-out can record transactions; a recorded location is not a guarantee of continuous or precise tracking.

03

Inspection and maintenance records

Authorised staff could log scheduled inspections, service events and calibration dates for selected equipment, with supporting files attached to its registry record. The workflow organises administrative records; it does not certify airworthiness, replace inspections or make maintenance decisions.

04

Custody and operational handover

Teams could record equipment assignment and handovers between approved airport work areas, with timestamped transaction history and configurable access. Where infrastructure permits, last-detected or live location views may be assessed; personnel surveillance is excluded and no covert tracking is proposed.

03 / A STRONGER OPERATIONAL PICTURE

A clearer asset register

Bring selected equipment details, assignments, files and service history into configurable records that authorised airport teams can review and maintain.

Traceable routine workflows

Capture receiving, movement, custody, audit and maintenance events through defined workflows, subject to the selected process and site configuration.

Visibility shaped to the site

Choose identification and location methods after assessment of asset types, airport infrastructure, coverage, permissions and operational requirements.

Technical assessment comes first.

Aviation use is proposed and subject to technical assessment; no sector implementation is represented as delivered. NTABTECH should assess asset types, airport zones, reader and network infrastructure, coverage, safety and access constraints, integrations, data governance, privacy, and retention before selecting methods. GPS determines position; cellular transports data only when coverage exists. Satellite communications are unconfirmed and require separate assessment. Passive RFID responds to powered readers. No accuracy, range, battery, or aviation-certification guarantees are made.

All visuals and records in this experience are illustrative. Location is a recorded detection or sample GPS event, not a guarantee of continuous live positioning.
